Marvel's Runaways...

This is the kind of show I normally wouldn't have sought out, but as JM was cast in it I just had to take a look, and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised.

Production wise It looks far better then some shows and a damn sight better the the awful Inhumans. JM is rather good in it, and It's good to see him not having to try and play 'younger' but rather a father of a teenager. His scenes this week were some of his best so far. (Images behind the cut)

Yeah, that scene was pretty good.

And the kid may be a bit cookie-cutter in appearance, but he's a way better actor than, say, Tom Welling.

It's quite a good show. I'm enjoying it.

Listen, I let my eyes bleed watching James in The Mountain years ago. Anything he's in where he doesn't die in his guest appearance is a plus for me, and he's certainly not embarrassing himself here. I'm enjoying the show. Hope to do so for a long time. Daddy James is... interesting (and still way hot).

And yes, I am too. I think It's been one of the better shows JM has been in of late.

Yeah, JM needs the freedom to be able to grow old on TV, and roles like this are what he needs to do more of imo.

Thanks for this. I didn't know Marsters was in Runaways, now I will have to check it out.

Inhumans infuriated me because it had the basics of a fantastic, complicated plot...then didn't focus on any of the interesting parts of it :-/
